Dr. Erfanian is a Florida licensed psychologist and a board-certified behavior analyst.

 

She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 1995. She completed her residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center with special focus in Pediatric Psychology, Women’s Health, and medical issues impacting psychological states and vice versa. Her academic training has had a special focus in behavioral and cognitive behavioral methods of evaluation and interventions. Also, she was recently trained in basic EMDR therapy to address trauma with adults and youths.

 

Dr. Erfanian has over 25 years of experience serving a wide range of concerns including ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, grief and loss, women’s issues through the developmental stages, child/youth management strategies and developmental disabilities, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder (high functioning, teens, and young adults), Social Skills education and  Executive Functioning and Planning Skills education.

She has worked in a variety of settings including schools, residential facilities, homes, community centers and medical clinics including the Mayo clinic. Her teaching experience has been with undergraduate psychology students as well as supervision of master’s and doctoral psychology and behavior analysis students in their practicum experiences.

In Florida, Dr. Erfanian’s previous work experiences include: Serving as the Tampa Site Coordinator for a federally funded DOE research project, working at Baycare Behavioral health as a psychologist and working within the Interdisciplinary Center for Evaluation and Intervention program at the University South Florida as a psychologist/behavior analyst. Most recently she worked at the Family Psychology Associates Group Practice as a psychologist/therapist.

Currently, she is working at her own practice at Pasco Family Psychological Services LLC.  She considers herself privileged to be trusted by those who often are seeking help with issues that makes them feel vulnerable, she is detailed oriented, respectful and protective of the information shared to champion them on.
